Even though foreigners have prejudices and different opinions about India, they cannot resist falling in love with this country once they visit here. Many foreigners from different countries decide to settle in India forever, either by obtaining the citizenship or marrying someone they find worth marrying. It is certainly a huge decision to take, but people happily want to spend their life romancing with India. Read on to find out what makes foreigners stay in India forever, or at least for a few years.

Creative or jugaadu Indians

The term, life-hack, has been making rounds on social media since quite a few years only. However, here in India, we have an abundance of creative people who are experts at life-hacks, which are called jugaad in Hindi. We can fix literally anything at a meager cost, which would otherwise demand exorbitant expense of repair, replacement, or expansion. When you have an India spouse at home, you don’t need to worry about the broken car charger, faulty shower head, or bugs in the bed. He can always fix the thing for you without spending a bomb on it.

The bargaining skills

Even if you are a traveler in India, it is better to either master the skills of haggling with street vendors or have an Indian friend or spouse to do it for you. Indians have a knack to haggle with almost anyone, or at least get the freebies from impossible places. The Indian shopkeepers and street vendors know that they can earn extra income just by charging an extra amount for their products, but their clients are also smart. They never give the price that is asked; they would haggle to any extent even if it means getting a discount of 1 INR! They can bargain just for the sake of it.

Have a grand wedding

Weddings in India are really a grand affair, and they are not formal and dull like those that happen in the West. If you are lucky to tie the knot with an Indian, you will surely have a vibrant and colorful wedding function, which may last up to a week! Isn’t that crazy? Even if you do not get married yourself, you can attend someone else’s wedding and go crazy over insane amount of food and drinks.

Traveling cheap

India is way cheaper than a lot of countries in terms of travel as well as way of living. Moreover, it is such a vast country that you can keep traveling every corner of it throughout your life only to realize you still have many places left to travel. You will get to have various modes of transport depending on your budget. When you want to splurge, you can have Self Drive Luxury Car Rental Bangalore. When you are tight on budget, you can take sleeper class trains. Even the airfares in India are not that expensive. You can enjoy traveling in India and have an enriching experience every time.

The food

Oh! How can you forget the outrageous variety of food served in India? Every region of this country has its own specialties. You can enjoy different cuisines in different states and find out what suits you the best. Whether you are a vegetarian or non-vegetarian person, you will have an insane list of cuisines to choose from. The Chicken Malai Tikka, Kadhai Paneer, Chicken 65, Garlic Naan, Mutton Biryani, Modak, and Jalebi are really the foods and sweets to die for. Your taste buds and stomach will go crazy having these cuisines all through your life. Come and be prepared to live a vibrant life in India.
