There is a fixed tariff rate for Residential users and you can look at the second half of the bills for the same:

  1. Fixed Charges: You can see in the Fixed Charges box for fixed a nominal charge per KW the sanctioned load for a residential segment by KERC.
  2. Slab Rates: All the residential users who are categorized by KERC according to sanctioned load are charged under their slab rates. These Tariff Slab Rates are decided by the KERC and the basis of respective slab rates you are charged depending on the units consumed. So you need to aware of your slab.
  3. Final Amount: At the end after adding tax, penalties which are fixed by your State Government, you will see the final payable amount which is printed on your BESCOM Electricity Bill.
