Ihram is, in fact, a special uniform for pilgrims who wear before entering the Holy Sanctuary of Mecca in order to perform the major or minor pilgrimage. It contains two parts which are worn by both men and women pilgrims in different ways. This white color cloth is obligatory to proceed the religious duty. Though there are several conditions regarding Ihram both for men and women, yet here we are going to discuss covering the face for women in the state of Ihram. Women should wear Ihram at typical Miqat which is very necessary for them. If you are going to perform Umrah through cheap umrah packages in December 2020 with your family containing females, so you must know how to cover the face from females. Mostly, women cover their face regularly but during the Ihram, they have to cover it a scholarly recommendation. Thus, if they involve such activity which is not allowed then they have to pay the Kaffarah or penalty in different forms.

Females are not allowed to veil or cover their faces in the state of Ihram, even with a mask or any other thing. However, women pilgrims can cover their face or putting the face on the pillow or covering with hands when they have the intention to sleep. Since it is obligatory for women to cover their heads during offering the prayer, so in the state of Ihram while offering Salah they are allowed to cover some part of the face to make sure covering their heads. In case of sudden occurrence of Non-Mahram, so women pilgrims are just permitted to pull their cloth from head side to shades the face but cloth should not stick to the face which realizes the veil. Yet, women are not allowed to do such an act if there is no occurrence of non-Mahram. Regardless, if they commit such an act, so they have to pay the Kaffarah of one sheep as a matter of precaution. Drying the face has no problem, so for that purpose women can dry their faces with towels but not veil their faces during the Ihram.

After performing the complete rituals of major or minor pilgrimage, thus women are permissible to veil their faces whatever they cover either full or half. However, according to Islam, women generally should cover the body except leaving bare to eyes, nose, chin, hands, and feet. Though several religious conscious women cover their whole body even hands and feet but doing so is not haram in Islam. As God has described in the Holy Quran "O Prophet! Say your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to pull their shawls all over their bodies excepting the eyes or one eye to see the way. It will be better, that they should be known as free, so as not to be exasperated. And God is Eternally Generous, Most Merciful"
