  4. Mahendra Cave

    Mahendra cave is a large limestone cave in Pokhara containing stalagmites and stalactites formed by dripping water. Discovered by young shepherds in the late 1950s, the cave is named after the former King Mahendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev. Only half of the cave is accessible to tourists due to lack of light in the darker parts of the cave, but it still gives an adventurous ride to the thrill-seekers.

    Sarangkot is a village located at Pokhara-16 and is popular among tourists for its panoramic view of the Himalayan hills. Just a little trek away from Pokhara city, Sarangkot offers great sunrise/sunset views over the Annapurna peaks. It is also a hotspot for paragliding.

  6. Shanti Stupa

    Also known as World Peace Pagoda, Shanti Stupa is a Buddhist pagoda-style structure dedicated to world peace. It stands on the top of the Anadu hill and offers a panoramic view of the whole Pokhara city. Shanti Stupa houses four statues of Buddha, all from different countries, presented as a souvenir. The white structure on the top of the hill offering a charismatic view is a spiritual hotspot for tourists.
