Echo Setup:-

Alexa is a voice artificial intelligence system. The echo is the hardware device created by Amazon. Echo is a speaker that has voice assistance enabled with Alexa voice assistant. The echo speakers came in a few different models like - Echo Dot (which is most popular), Echo, Echo Plus, Echo Show and Echo Tap. There are lots of devices that are compatible with the Alexa voice assistant like, Garmin, Echobee, I live platinum and much more. Now it’s time to learn how to set up these devices. I’m going to share some simple steps with the images to set up the different Alexa Devices. Now as I mentioned there is a wide range of Echo devices are available, so let’s start with the Echo Dot which is the most popular devices echo Dot Setup:-Now you have to decide which device you want to use to set up the Echo Dot. You can select one of the below-mentioned devices as per your convenience.1. Android Phone or Tablet2. IOS Device (iPhone or iPad)3. Windows Computer4. Mac Computer

1. Android Phone or Tablet:-

Step 1- Download Alexa App1. Go to the Play Store on your device to download the Alexa App.2. On the top of the screen where you see the search option or Google Play, type in there "Amazon Alexa" and hit search.3. Now click on "Install" to download the app.

Step 2- Set up the Alexa App:-

1. Open the Alexa App and login with your Amazon username and password.
2. Now it will ask you "Help Alexa get to know you", now click on your name. It may ask you to put your first and last name.
3. Allow all the permission to your app so that it can function properly.4. Now your app is ready to set up your Echo Dot. Step

Setup Echo Dot:-

1. On the right side bottom corner, you have to click on "Devices".
2. Now click on the right top corner on the "+" icon.
3. Select your device type, "Amazon Echo".
4. Select your Device, "Echo Dot".
5. Click "Continue" to the Echo Dot Setup.
6. Now it will ask you to make sure the light is Orange on the top of your Echo Dot, if it’s not showing the orange light on it then press and hold down the "Action Button"(Dot Button) for 6 Seconds. Then it will tell you that it’s in setup mode. (If it shows you to connect your phone to "Amazon-XXX" manually then follow the Step A.)
7. It will ask you to select your Echo and show you the name of your Echo "echo-xxx", you have to click on it then it will show you options to select your Wi-Fi.
8. Select your Wi-Fi and put your Wi-Fi password, then click on connect.
9. If you have put the correct password, you will get the success page that "Your Device is Ready".In case if it asks you to connect your phone manually to "Amazon-XXX" after Step 6,

then follow these steps here: -A) Without closing the Alexa App or without pressing the back button, you have to press the home button of your phone or the middle button to go to the home screen.B) Go to the settings then go to Wi-Fi, Now in the available networks you will see "Amazon-XXX" (XXX could be any numbers and letters unique for every device). C) Connect your Wi-Fi with "Amazon-XXX".D) Press the home button once again and go to the home screen of your phone again.E) Now open the Alexa App once again and you will see the message that "Click Continue to Select your Wi-Fi Network.
