Heading to one of the local courses for mini glow mini golf in Greenville, SC is fun for the entire family! Who says mini golf, or any type of golf, has to be done during the day? Glow golf gives you the gun of golf, with a little added flair because everything is illuminated! And while mini golf itself is really fun, there are many ways to make it even more challenging, more silly, or simply a little different. Next time you’re headed out to do some putt putting, try adding one of these fun challenges into the mix:

  1. Each player gets to call a "switch" during the game. This means they can switch the current position of their ball with the position of any other player of their choosing. Each person can only do it once, though- so you better use it at the right time!
  2. Want to keep the pace moving? Institute a rule that it doesn’t count as a new stroke if you can hit the ball again while it's still moving. You better hurry up and follow your ball!
  3. Do you think you’re really good at putt putt? Complete your putt with your eyes closed. Once your first attempt lands, open your eyes and see where you need to make it to the hole from.
  4. Make it a trivia night crossover! You have to answer a general knowledge question correctly before you are allowed to tee off. To make it even tougher, each wrong answer to the question adds an extra stroke onto your score.
  5. Your score is based on the time you take to make it through the course, while still getting each hole completed, not the number of shots you take. To ensure you don’t bother anyone else around you, you cannot run so keep both feet on the ground!
  6. Make a friendly wager. If you want to make sure everyone is trying their hardest, make a bet! Bet only what you can afford to lose. In fact, it’s probably funner to bet something besides money. Maybe the loser has to wash the winner’s car or wear the jersey of the winner’s favorite football team.
  7. Another simple but effective way to make the game a lot harder for seasoned pros is to make a rule that all golfers have to putt using just one hand. Now that is a challenge!
  8. Don’t make it about the score. Instead of keeping track of strokes, make the winner whoever hits a rock the most often or the person who never hits the side rail the entire game. This is a way to get really creative!
There are so many more ways to make a trip to the golf course in Greenville, SC more challenging, more fun, or just more silly! Can you think of a way to get a little more creative next time?
