Experience Time: I was planed my Saputara hill tour, Dang, Gujarat tour during October 2019. This time is considered as the monsoon in India. I will tell you all the information about my Saputara tours like how to reach, weather condition and places near Saputara hill station.

Where is Saputara Hill?

It is is located at Dang district Gujarat state India. It is a border on Gujarat and Maharashtra state. Some part of Saputara hill area is in Maharashtra state.

How to reach Saputara?

There are three ways to reach Saputara hill station, Dang.

The first one is by road: Saputara hill area is a hundred kilometers inside from Delhi Mumbai national highway.

Second is by air: Surat airport is 163 km far from Saputara hill point. Surat airport is a domestic airport. Mumbai is 250 kilometers far from the Saputara hill area. Mumbai airport is an international airport.

The third one is by railway: Reach to Navsari railway station. Navsari railway station located at the Mumbai Delhi railway line. From Navsari railway station car and bus available for Saputara.

Weather in Saputara: July to October is monsoon in this area. That time much more greenery foggy weather and wonderful surroundings.

November to February is winter in the hill point. Temperature is the nearest 20-degree good weather for the tour plan.

February to June is summer. The temperature of the station is low compared to other cities if you plan for summer vacation that good idea.

My Suggestion: If you live near Surat city of Gujarat state or near Nashik City Maharashtra state than the Saputara tour is worthy. 1 or 2 days required for the Saputara tour.

As per my experience, I suggest you plan your Saputara tour during the monsoon season because this is the best time for the Saputara tour place.

It is base on your location. If you live in South Gujarat or near Nasik than the Saputara visit is worth. 270 km from Vadodara and 100 km from Nasik. Saputara is only one Hill Station in Gujarat state

Some best resorts in the Saputara tour?

I don't know about resorts but Forest Log Hut is the best place to stay. 2.4 km far from Saputara lake. Permission required for stay here, Made by the forest department, the main office in Ahwa. Monsson is good?

July to October is monsoon.

May Rainfall: 51 mm

June Rainfall: 152 mm

So if you visit during July or August, that time much greenery and good weather to enjoy a tour.

Who can go to Hill Station?

It's simple. If you live near Mumbai or Pune than Mahabaleshwar is batter for you and if you live in south Gujarat or near Nasik than Saputara is good for you.
