A Brief introduction

Albert Hall museum is one of the most visited historical monument of Jaipur, it is located at the heart of the city where anybody can reach easily. The museum is full of artifacts, objects and other artistic things.

Its not only a museum but its outer beauty is even attractive as well as it is from inner side, lots of tourist come here from across the world, and you will never find it with a lesser crowd.

Here is a history intro:

The famous building of Albert Hall museum built in the year 1876 and the moto to develop it as a concert hall.

And further it was named Albert Hall based on Victoria and Albert museum of London. The foundation of the building took place in the year 1876 after the prince wales visit of Jaipur, however once the building was built completely, the authorities were not in proper form to utilize it and started using it as a town hall in 1880.

Later the Rajputana King Maharaja Sawai Madho Singh second started using it as museum of industrial art, in the meanwhile it started displaying the local art as well.

Later starts from 1881 the museum was at its peak and its beauty stories spread all over the country where lots of people from the country started visiting the museum to buy the local handicraft items and for the enjoyment as well.

However the monument was under construction until 1887, and later started to showcase artifacts and ancient artwork.

Historical Significance:

The main attraction of the Albert Hall as I mentioned above, its building obviously as its look like a prices palace. It’s a focal central point of Ram Niwas Garden.

The place is one among the most visiting places in Jaipur, the view in the night is awesome and its look more beautiful surrounded from colorful lights.

It has its own identity which is not depend on others to describe. Its fantastic artistic image is more enough to attract a tourist at first sight.

How to reach:

The Albert Hall Museum is situated at the center of the city, Ajmeri Gate, in Ramniwas garden.

There are multiple ways to reach here as the local transport is available from each corner of the city to Ajmeri Gate, altogether you can use car hire services in Jaipur by hiring a taxi to reach the destination.

Best Time to Visit:

Winter are the best time to visit in Rajasthan as Rajasthan is hot state of india and temperature arise upto 50 degrees in summers thus I would suggest to visit rajasthan in winters where temperature remains 20-25 degrees maximum.
