Visiting Disney World in 2021

If you are planning a trip to Walt Disney World in 2021, there are some things you need to know. Anyone that has visited Disney prior can't expect the same kind of trip they might have had in previous years. Does this mean you can't have fun while still following best practices in a more health-conscious world? Certainly not.

Here are my top three tips for planning a Disney vacation in 2021.

First and foremost, at this time there is no FastPass available in the parks. Therefore, you'll want to take into consideration which rides are a priority to your family and either knock them out first thing in the morning or the last thing at park close.

The next thing you're going to want to know is how to use mobile-order dining at Disney! All of the Disney counter services are requiring that you use mobile-order during this time. It's so simple to use and is truly a timesaver. All you do is open the My Disney Experience app on your phone and select dining. Then you'll choose what location, review the menu, select your items, and pay for it! It's all done right there on your phone in those few easy steps. -

Lastly, you'll want to pick the perfect Walt Disney World Resort for your family. If the parks tend to be a little bit more crowded than you would like, then you are going to want to spend a lot of downtime at your resort. As a Resorts Gal, I specialize in offering advice for where families should spend their Disney vacation.

My top two resorts right now are the following:

Disney's Beach Club Resort is always my favorite choice and has been for years. Why? Well, you get to stay in the Epcot Resorts area. Here you'll find three different Disney World resorts and one hotel all within walking distance to two of the theme parks. One of those theme parks is Disney's Hollywood Studios which is currently drawing the largest amount of interest due to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. And the other is Epcot, a classic theme park, that will have a new Ratatouille attraction opening this year.

My other choice is Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. This resort is a moderate, meaning middle of the road pricing and amenities. If you have been missing cruising and traveling this last year you are going to love the island vibe found here. Not only that, but the new Riviera Resort is right next door! Meaning more dining options and there's also access to the new Skyliner gondola system. Making travel to select theme parks new and exciting with those vast views.

While I'm sure there are so many more tips, I truly think these should be your top considerations and things to know at this time. Make sure to keep up to date with the latest Disney news, because things do change often!
