The company claims that snapdragon 678 is designed to give better performance, imaging, and internet connectivity in the mid-range models with decreasing its range. Snapdragon 678 is manufactured by using the 11-nanometer process technology and it has the 2 cores Kryo 460 Gold with the range of 2200 megahertz and 6 cores kryo silver with 1700 MHz.

Features of Snapdragon 720G:

The Qualcomm snapdragon 720G is the fast mid-range ARM-based system on a chip, which is found largely on smart-phones & tablets. The 720G is fabricated by using the technology of the 8-nanometer process. It has 8 cores that are divided into two clusters, which is 2 cores Kryo 465 Gold with the range of 2300 MHz and 6 cores Kryo silver at 1800 MHz.

The Snapdragon 678 provides the Qualcomm spectra 250L image with a single processor, which is the 14 bit dual ISP. It supports dual cameras up to 16 + 16 at 30 frames per second (fps) with MFNR (multi-frame noise reduction) & ZSL (zero shutter lag). The SD 678 supports 48MP single camera and a 192MO single camera without MFNR and ZSL.

Where the SD 720G has the Qualcomm of spectra 350L image with the single processor that is a 14 bit dual ISP. The 720G supports the 16MP + 16MP dual cameras with 30 frames per second. it offers a 32MP single camera with 30 frames per second.

Memory:

When we compare Snapdragon 720G VS Snapdragon 678, then we can see that the SD 678 has a 16-bit dual-channel up to 8GB LPDDR x RAM operating with the speed of 1866MHz. On the other side, the SD 720G has a 16-bit dual-channel up to 8 LPDDR4 x RAM with an operating speed of 2133MHZ. Both the chipsets have eMMC (embedded multi-media card) 5.1 and UFS (universal flash storage)2.1 based storage.

Display:

The snapdragon 678 offers the Full HD+ display with the max resolution of 2520 x 1080 pixels where the 720G offers the Quad HD+ display with the resolution of 1440 x 3360 pixels.
