Google’s Stadia is Continuing to Bleed Talent as More Notable Names Depart

There are several notable names who recently left the Stadia company. Google’s Stadia is also losing its key talent continuously as the gaming platform fights to take hold.

According to the reported information, the vice president of Stadia and product head John Justice left the company in the recent week. At the same time, a user of the Resetera Gaming forum spotted that several other Stadia employees joined a new studio run by Jade Raymond, head of Stadia Games & Entertainment.

In 2019 Raymond was hired by Google to lead its SG&E division and design exclusives for Google’s new cloud-based gaming, announced by Google, but after a year in February of this year, Google starts working with its existing developers and shut the internal divisions.

When Raymond announced that she leave the company at the time then at the same time, Phil Harrison, Stadia’s head, announced that Google will help his SG&E team and will find some new roles for the company. Raymond is a Ubisoft Veteran, and she is known for her works on the Assassin’s Carried and WatchDog franchises.

Several staff members from the SG&E team have joined the new studio Heaven which includes Jonathan Dankoff (former Stadia UX researcher), Francis Denoncourt and Erwann Le Reuzic (concept artists), and Corey May (former head of Stadia creative service).

The former general manager of Stadia, Sebastien Peul, is also known as a co-founder of the new studio of Raymond on Linked In, and this studio is new, and it has already secured an exclusive deal to develop a new intellectual property for the PlayStation with Sony.

Some game developers and publishers told the insider that Google does not offer enough money to them where some were concerned and told the insider that Google would not stick with this platform for the long term where Stadia start its rocky run with the help of a small number of available title and some missing terms.
