This wildlife refuge gives these beautiful creatures and countless others a place to live and relax away from the stress found in more human-populated areas. This is a gorgeous destination for any traveler.

Many people seem to assume that the Great Plains are completely smooth and flat, but that's not the case. This land has hills, mountains: and rock formations as interesting as the Scotts Bluff National Monument in Nebraska. This monument rises 800 feet above sea level and has countless rings showing the passage of time.

Although these bluffs spread out over several miles, they're breathtaking to drive by if you want to take in some of the best views of your life. Like any natural landmark, this is best seen at sunset or sunrise, when the golden sunlight makes everything even more beautiful.
