Assam Ration Card List Download | New District /Block Wise List

Assam Ration Card is an important document issued by the Assam Government, through the Public Distribution Scheme (PDS) of the Nation Food Security Act, 2013. Assam ration card is issued to certain families of the state. By producing the ration card at ration shops, the families of low income (as determined by PDS), or below the poverty line can get food grains at a subsidized rate. The Assam Ration cards are now issued under the NFSA Scheme in Assam.

Assam Ration Card Eligibility

The families meeting the minimum eligibility criteria can apply for Assam Ration Card. The minimum eligibility is mentioned below:

• AAY (Antyodaya Anna Yojana Families). Under this, families having an annual income of less than Rs.1 lakh can get 35kg/ration card.
• PHH (Priority Household): The PHH ration cards are given to families having an annual income of less than Rs.1 lakh and they can avail 5kg/family member.

Apply for Assam Ration Card: Documents Required

The list of the documents needed while applying for the Assam Ration Card includes

• Copy of voter ID
• Birth certificates
• Photo Copy of receipt of land revenue pay/tax pay
• Address proof (such as passbook/ driving license/telephone bill/electricity bill)
• TC from the FCS & CA authority

Assam Ration Card 2022: How to Apply?

The detailed procedure to apply for Assam Ration Card is mentioned below:

• Refer to the official website of the PDS: PDS Portal
• Tap on the "PDS stakeholders", and then tap "In States" option.
• Once you have selected "District Food and Supply Officer", tap on the "FPS Dealers".
• Tap on the state.
• The candidates will be taken to another window. Here, choose the district and block/Tehsil.
• Then tap on the "view report".
• In every district page, tap on the "department" and also choose the contact information.
• The candidates can then visit the office and collect the application form.
• Fill in all required details filled in the application form.
• Attach all the required documents and submit the application.
• Post verifying the application and documents, the issuing authority will issue a receipt of the application to you.
• In case of no objection with your application, the candidates will get Assam Ration Card via post in a few weeks’ time.

Post successful submission of all the documents, the eligible candidates will get the Assam Ration Card. Once the application and the documents get verified by the concerned authorities, the ration card will be processed within a few weeks.
