From Inequity to Opportunity: Parmartham’s Education Initiative
Posted: Mar 06, 2026
School enrolments in Rajasthan have been enhanced, although the disparities have continued to define student performance. The problems that have an impact on classroom uniformity comprise unequal quality of learning, insufficient mentorship, and excessive shortage of teachers. In secondary education alone, there are more than 1.22 lakh unoccupied teaching posts, and therefore, many students do not get any sustained academic guidance.
Educational inequity is not simply a matter of access- it is a matter of quality, continuity and opportunity. The gap in these aspects cannot be filled with the usual education. It calls for an integrated, community-driven approach- an approach actively advanced by Parmartham, an NGO in Jaipur working across the state as a leading NGO in Rajasthan.
Educational Environment in RajasthanIn spite of the policy efforts, there are structural gaps. Rural urban inequalities, the risk of dropping out of secondary school, lack of career exposure, and socio-economic strains still impact on progression rates. Academic support in the home set up is often lacking in first generation learners and many of the students have other barriers, which are not limited to the classroom. These facts indicate that mentorship and long-term opportunity generation is necessary and in this regard Parmartham is critical.
What is Parmartham?Founded in 2020, Parmartham is a child and youth empowerment NGO in Jaipur dedicated to providing free, high-quality education, mentorship, and holistic skill development. Recognised as a top NGO in Rajasthan for students, it works to break cycles of poverty by building structured pathways from learning to livelihood.
It has three main programs namely:
Saksham Bharat: Completely free NEET and JEE classes and professional mentorship and exam strategy options to less privileged students.
Shiksha Shala: Primary education that is based on values, i.e. a mix of academic learning and cultural learning as well as emotional growth.
Kaushal Vikas: Skill building programs that provide technical provisions, communication and exposure to internships to increase employability.
As a top NGO in Rajasthan for students, Parmartham actively identifies systemic weaknesses and works toward sustainable solutions:
Teacher Leviathan and Academic Advice: Student to teacher ratios in most schools are high, which means that there is less clarity over the subject and less mentoring. Parmartham fills this gap by having committed teachers, organised doubt solving classes, and academic focus which reinforce conceptual knowledge and exam preparation.
Quality Inequalities in Foundational Learning: Foundational literacy and numeracy are uneven despite increased enrolment. Parmartham, through Shiksha Shala, will provide the orderly studying, sustained learning, and value-oriented learning which enhances both the academic performance and the character building.
Inadequate Competitive Exam Exposure: Underprivileged students are not familiar with, have limited resources and strategic planning in regard to competitive exams such as NEET and JEE. Saksham Bharat eliminates the cost factors by offering free and quality-based coaching, mentoring, and confidence-building overrides.
Mismatch between Education and Employment: Conventional education is often not industry aligned. Parmartham has positioned youth through Kaushal Vikas to be technologically skilled, workplace communicative, internship, and exposure-filled; it is putting clear career links between education and employability.
Socio-Emotional and Value Disconnect: Academic stress, low confidence and less role models influence long term aspirations. Parmartham fosters resilience, discipline, and purpose through the incorporation of mentorship, cultural awareness, and well-being practices.
With over 86 education centres established and more than 20,000 students impacted, Parmartham continues to expand its reach and deepen its impact as a trusted NGO in Rajasthan.
Call for ActionSocial participation is empowering all the social programs. You can contribute by:
Volunteering: Sponsor educational and skills-enhancement programs.
Donating: Support with vital resources and mentorship.
Partnering: Work together to reach more communities.
Parmartham has been providing education, skills and opportunity to ambitious learners since the year 2020. As a child and youth empowerment NGO in Jaipur and a recognised NGO in Rajasthan, it continues to transform access into long-term progress—building a more equitable future for students across the state.
