FC 26 TOTS Serie A Weekly Review: Full Roll Guide & Efficiency Tips

Now that FC 26 TOTS has kicked off with Serie A, this first week is easily the quietest one of the whole promo. Judging by early feedback, even next week’s Premier League TOTS doesn’t look too exciting either, with only four gold items in the main lineup. We’ll break that down later—right now let’s focus on what actually matters for grinding and pack rolling this cycle. The biggest change this TOTS is how EA has structured repeatable SBCs into a self-sustaining loop, and it’s almost certainly copy-pasted across Premier League, Bundesliga, and the rest of the weeks until the TOTS All-Star squad drops. The key new additions are the Premium League Upgrade SBC and the fresh TOTS Upgrade SBC that dropped last week. The Premium League Upgrade takes 11 rare golds and rewards 3 rare golds + 8 common golds from that league. When paired with the daily Upgrade Pack SBC, the loop really takes off: feeding 3x 85+ OVR players into it gives you 25 rare golds and 15 common golds, all perfect fodder for both Premium League and TOTS Upgrade SBCs. These three SBCs feed into each other nonstop.Playstyle varies a lot depending on how much you want to grind. Casual players can ignore the full loop and just run basic 14x 83+ and 6x 84+ upgrades. But be warned: TOTS pack odds this year are heavily clamped. Even the first few 14x 83+ packs often come up completely empty of TOTS items, no low-end blues included. Players who stick to the daily 5–6 Upgrade Packs will keep a steady flow of fodder without burning out. For sweats chasing high-end TOTS items and hitting the daily soft ban cap, speeds can hit 90 rolls in 10 minutes and 300+ a day—though that level of grinding burns through supplies fast. For low-rated clutter, 84 OVR and below is pure filler. Rare golds go straight into the 2x 86+ Upgrade, while common golds slot into 80-rated 10-player pick 4. Between those two, always pick 2x 86+: it gives the highest average rating outside targeted packs and feels far more rewarding even without a TOTS hit.Players rated 84–88 feed into 14x 83+ and 6x 84+ SBCs. With TOTS blue drops so stingy, you can’t sustain the loop without churning fodder and grinding TOTW upgrades for 82–86 OVR players. This is clearly EA forcing longer playtime, a far cry from past years where spare blue cards alone kept the loop going. If you have FC 26 coins and skipped the 1.2M store pack, just buy the daily 3-TOTW pack to skip low-rated busywork entirely. If you’re short on time, drop 14x 84+ and stick to 6x 84+: it’s league-locked and way less frustrating. At the top end, 86–90 OVR players feed into the 94 OVR TOTS Pack. The only two cards worth chasing this week are the right-back and "Driver" items—they also pop up constantly in the 8-win 93+ pick packs. Once you have them, you can stop opening 94 TOTS packs entirely. The highest-priority high-rated SBC this week is the TOTS 3-in-1 Pick, which is reasonably priced and solid for weekly objectives. Save the generic TOTS Upgrade for last, since it has no guaranteed pull. All in all, Serie A TOTS is built around a solid repeatable SBC loop, but EA’s tight odds and forced low-rated grinding drag down the fun. The good news: this Serie A blueprint works for every league week ahead—just swap the league name. For most players, the smart move is to stick to core SBCs, grab the meta cards you need, and log off before you burn out on empty rolls.
