Perform these exercises daily, ideally 2–3 sessions of 10–15 minutes. Begin slowly to avoid irritation, and stop if sharp pain occurs—mild discomfort is normal as muscles adapt. Consistency matters more than intensity; many people notice reduced pain and better shoe fit within weeks.
Pair exercises with lifestyle changes: wear wide-toe-box shoes, avoid high heels, use toe spacers or orthotics for alignment support, and maintain a healthy weight to lessen foot load. Low-impact activities like swimming, cycling, or barefoot walking on sand strengthen feet naturally while minimizing pressure.

Exercises work best for mild to moderate bunions and as prevention. Severe deformities or significant arthritis may require medical intervention, such as custom orthotics, physical therapy, or surgery (e.g., osteotomy).
