Allworth Homes: Construction Quality is Our Top-notch Concern

Posted: Jun 20, 2015
In line with our thrust to provide quality products and services to our customers, we at Allworth Homes, have conducted a customer satisfaction survey as basis for improvement. The study was to gauge the people’s perception of the building industry in general, our company as resources provider, and their deciding factors when purchasing a home. The first leg was done from April to August 2014, but the entire study will be done on a continuing basis (every six months) to ensure timely results.
In the first leg, a total of one hundred fifteen Allworth Display Center visitors across New South Wales have been invited to participate in the survey. These were a range of first home buyers, upsizers, downsizers and real estate investors. They have been randomly selected to ensure that key locations are properly represented.
In terms of results, the study revealed that potential home owners put premium on build quality (31%) followed by design (19%), cost efficiency (12%) and entertainment space (9%). Meanwhile, 24% of the participants believes that these four factors are equally important.
The study is a clear indication that, for most buyers, the quality of the finished product is more of a consideration than price. It is not enough for a home to be built – it has to be done very well at that. Getting a home entails a huge investment, and cutting down on resources for the sake of reducing costs often lead to mediocrity and disappointment.
With this in mind, we at Allworth, make sure to pay attention to details when dealing with our customers. We always advise them to choose only topnotch quality finishes and the right specifications relative to their needs. We educate them to look past the fancy interior design concepts, and focus more on the quality of materials to be used to execute these concepts. Like any good ole chef would say, they should not be fooled by the sizzle since we know it is the steak they are after.
We often ask potential buyers to picture themselves living in the home of their dreams. We believe it is crucial that they spend time in homes that interest them to get a feel of its different aspects. If they have various concepts in mind, we ask them to make a shortlist and help them decide on the final plan. Of course, this should be relevant to their lifestyle and current need state.
One important aspect that we capitaize on is the furniture – all pieces should fit into the spaces of their desired homes and facilitate mobility. The floor plan also plays a key role in the overall flow of the house.
Our sales consultants are happy to walk our customers through the purchase process for them to carefully consider their options. For a more tailored proposal, they are encouraged to visit our display villages across NSW. A complete list can be found on http://allworthhomes.com.au/display-locations-area-map.
