Method 1 - Soak with cleaning solution
Once you have removed the PrintHead, then you should go to clean it up with help of a cleaning solution. You can create a cleaning solution using the 20% ammonia and distilled water. After that heat up that mixture in microwave oven for 15-20 seconds, but not steaming hot. Now you need to soak your PrintHead’s clogged ends into it. This will clear some part of the clogged ink; then after a while, you can clean with a clear piece of cloth or paper napkin. Once, you are done with the cleaning, wait to get it dry and then place it in your printer.
Method 2 - Using water pressure
The water pressure can also be use to get rid of the clogging on your printer’s PrintHead. This will clear the blockage yet, it’s not an ideal way to clean it. In fact, mostly experts won’t recommend it. You should prefer to use distilled water for better results. Once you remove the PrintHead from your printer; you need to clear all the excess ink from it and then remove rubber gaskets from inside the PrintHead. After that, simply keep the PrintHead under a strong faucet with high pressure. This will clear the clogged PrintHead; but there are chances to get it damaged due to high pressure.
