Some sounds coming from Canon printer MP620 can be abnormal and really annoying such as grinding, screeching, rattling, clicking sounds and so on. Clicking sound is one of the most common and stubborn issues with Canon Printers. Let us learn to troubleshoot these issues:

  • You must make sure that your printer is powered on and open the Paper Output Tray carefully.
  • Then lift the printer cover completely. This will bring the print hand on the replacement position.
  • Remove the ink tank and for that you need to follow the given steps:
  • Push the tab to lift the ink tank.
  • Then raise the print head lock lever and tilt the print head slightly towards the front of the machine and lift out gently.
  • Now place the print head holder and lower the print head lock lever key until you hear a click.
  • After that insert the ink tank into the print head.
  • Press the mark on the ink tank till you hear a click then close the inner cover and the printer cover.

If the above method didn’t work then maybe there is some paper or foreign object jammed inside the machine. Please follow the steps below to get rid of this issue.

  • Gently pull the paper out, either from the rear tray or the paper output slot.
  • If the paper tears in between or any piece left in the machine then turn off the machine and open scanning unit to remove the paper.
  • If this process doesn’t work then turn the machine off for some time and then turn it on, this may eject the paper automatically.

If you are successful in removing the paper then you might need to reload the paper again and press OK button.

  • Make sure you are loading the correct paper type.
  • A5 size is recommended to print consistently.

In case if the paper jam error still appears on the machine, then you can immediately contact us at Canon Printer Contact Number UK.

The other way to remove the paper is as follows:

  • Detach the rear cover and make sure that the paper support is fully extended so that you can access the rear cover.
  • Pull the paper out without touching any component inside the machine.
  • If you are successful in removing the paper then attach the rear cover and for that push the left side of the rear cover until it is completely closed.
  • In case you are not able to remove the paper then remove the cassette and then pull the paper out slowly.
  • In case any paper is sticking out of the cassette then remove it.
  • Realign and reload the paper in the cassette.
  • Insert the cassette back into the machine and press Ok button of the machine.

Hope now you are not getting any clicking sound from your printer, in case this problem persists then please give us a call at Canon Printer Support Number UK.
