Connecting HP Printer to a wireless Solutions

Though, this feature is available in newer models of. For using this technology, you will need to install the printer software, you will be prompted various steps to complete this process. You will see a screen asking to choose "Network (Ethernet/Wireless)" connection type and after that, you will need to select an option to set your settings. You will need to remember this that every computer is not compatible with this technology. Here is some configuration that needs to meet to be compatible with this technology

a. Operating System: Windows Vista or newer and Mac OS X 10.5 or newer. Your OS should be in sync with the wireless adapter to fetch current network settings.

b. The frequency of your network should be over 2.4GHz.

c. The IP address should be static.

d. You will need to select the mode on your printer while installation. Make sure you select HP Auto Wireless Connect mode.

There may be several factors that can be responsible for HP Auto Wireless Connect not working properly. You should note that is this technology is provided during the initial setup of the printer, it is the always advisable installation process. For some process to work properly, you may need to disconnect your computer from your connected wireless network. So, technically, you won't be accessing the internet this time. So make sure, you take all the backup of your online work and websites If this technology is not provided while the initial set up process or if it is not configured properly, you will be told to access some other wireless setup process.

1. USB setup of wireless: There are some HP printers that come without a touch display. In these printers, you can use this wireless setup process while the printer driver installation. 2. On the printer's control panel, go to the network menu -> Settings-> Wireless Setup instruction panel. You will have to choose your wireless network's name from the list displayed by the wireless Setup instruction panel.

3. Enter your correct password. And then you are good to go.
